Activities

Makiko AKITSU is a floral photo artist and a color coordinator qualified in Japan.
In 2004, she and her husband moved to the Flower Peninsula, where she embarked on her photographic journey. See the video “My home ground ” below.

Through her photographic activities, her works earned a reputation to have “rediscovered the beauty of flowers.”

• held 16 solo exhibitions of her new works at various venues in the Tokyo area and Europe, including museums, galleries, city halls and a shopping mall.

• published her first photo book in English, “Lyrics of the highland.”
